| The past few days have really been nothing but blissful. Summer is winding down, and this is my favourite time of year. I'm looking forward to the chillier days of fall, and to the opening of school again, and I'm enjoying the last couple weeks I have to spend time doing...nothing. I really haven't done much over this break, but it's been so great so far. I can't wait for fall.
I tried to download this online game called Mu Online, and it looks awesome. My brother describes it as a "sucky copy of Diablo", but I don't know what that means since I've never played or seen Diablo. Either way, my computer isn't fast enough to actually run the silly program, so it skips and such and the cursor refuses to move properly and I can't play it. What a disappointment.
Mara left yesterday. Well, two days ago according to the real date. We had such a blast with her, it's always lonely when she leaves. She's so great, just spending time with her makes my family happy. She's very upbeat and chilike and playful, I can't exactly describe it but I want to be just like her. ^_^ She taught me how to crochet a half-double stitch, which I plan to teach Julie in exchange for a lesson in single stitching. I crocheted a bag, it seemed like such a good idea, but it turned out funny-looking because just as I was starting the handle I ran out of my dark blue thread. I switched it with a bright purple that matches the drawstring, but I wish it had been all one colour, or at least better colours. I can always untie it and stick in some different yarn and whatnot, but it's really possible that I'll just be too lazy. I like it, it's usable, just not what I'd wanted. I suppose I don't like the yarn either. Mara had one, which is why I wanted to try it, and she used a less hairy cotton-like thread, or something, I don't know the proper term for it. But it's really neat, maybe now that I have the hang of it I'll make one out of that. I want to get into knitting again too, now that I have both knitting needles and a crochet needle/hook/whatever it's called.
Krony's has been going quite well, I'm really happy with it. I messed up twi pizzas last time I was there though (putting the tomatoes on after the cheese and the mushrooms on top of the pepperoni) but Dave told me it was "Krony's Special Day" so I didn't have to do it all again. He was lying of course, and I just suck, but I was glad for the sympathy. I got yelled at three times, though.
John's making fun of my bag, so I'm going to go. I'll go to bed sad.
